Shree Krishna Ghee Bhandar

We've been here on Ladpura Main Road for a good while now. It's a busy spot but we like it. Most people around here know where we are because of the sign. We sell ghee and keep things pretty straightforward in the shop. It’s a small place, nothing too fancy, just some counters and the big containers we keep the stock in. My father started things off many years ago and now I handle the daily work. People come in, ask for what they need, and we weigh it out right there in front of them. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the mornings when the milk deliveries arrive and the street gets blocked by trucks. We try to keep the place clean, though with all the traffic on the road outside, dust is always a battle every single day. It’s mostly regular faces from the neighborhood who stop by to pick up a kilo or two. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. If you walk down the main road, you'll see us. We keep the doors open from early morning until late evening. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it's quiet just watching the cars go by. The smell of the ghee is always around. It's just how the shop has always been. We don't have a website or fancy machines, just a basic scale and some good containers. If you need some for your kitchen, we are usually here waiting. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. We know most of the other shopkeepers around Ladpura too. It feels like home after all these years of work.
