Rajasthan Rubber Industries

We are located over at IPIA F 141. Rajasthan Rubber Industries is basically a manufacturing setup. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because of the materials we work with every day. There is a lot of black dust and the smell of rubber is everywhere, but you stop noticing it after being here for ten minutes. We have a few machines running most of the day. They are quite loud, so we usually have to raise our voices to hear each other over the noise. We make various rubber parts and items that other businesses need for their own products. It’s heavy work and can be quite tiring, especially in the summer when the heat from the machines adds to the weather outside. Our warehouse space is filled with stacks of raw material and finished goods ready to be loaded onto trucks for delivery. The floor is concrete and has some cracks here and there from the heavy equipment. We’ve been at this location for a while now. It’s an industrial area, so there aren’t many shops or restaurants nearby to visit. Most of us bring our own lunch and eat in the small break area near the back. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We focus on getting the orders out on time for our customers. The paperwork sits on a desk in the corner of the floor, often getting a bit of dust on it. It's a long day usually, but we get the work done.
