Poorva General Store

My family has been running Poorva General Store for a while now. We are located at Plot Number 2-K-38 in Kota-6, right near the Fereezee Marriage Hall. If you live around here, you probably know the spot. It’s just a regular shop where we keep all the basic stuff people need for their kitchens and homes. Sometimes it gets really busy when there is a wedding at the hall next door. People come in asking for small things they forgot to pack. We try to keep the shelves full with lentils, soaps, and snacks. Most days, I’m the one sitting behind the counter. It is not a fancy place, just a concrete room with lots of jars and packets. The fan makes a bit of noise in the summer, but it keeps us cool enough. We open early in the morning because that’s when everyone wants their milk and bread. Usually, I close up quite late after the last few neighbors finish their errands. It’s a quiet life here in Kota. We know most of our customers by their faces and what they usually buy. If you are passing by the marriage hall, you can't miss us. We don't have any big signs or anything, just the name painted above the door. It’s a simple business, really. We just focus on having what people ask for so they don't have to go far to get their daily supplies.
