Pawan Provision Store

This is Pawan Provision Store in Teachers Colony. We’ve been here in Kota for many years now. Being near the teachers' area means I see a lot of the same faces every single day. Most people just call out what they want from their scooters without even getting off. I have to remember who owes what in the credit diary, which is sometimes a bit of a headache. The shop is filled with bags of rice and stacks of detergent boxes. It gets pretty cramped inside, especially when a new shipment arrives and I haven't had time to put everything on the shelves yet. I usually start the day around 7 AM. The morning rush for milk and bread is the most hectic part. After that, things quiet down until the afternoon. I don't really have a big team or anything, just me and a boy who helps with deliveries around the colony. We try to keep all the kitchen staples like spices, flour, and oil. Sometimes the light goes out and we have to use a torch to find things in the back. It’s just how it is. People know where we are, right near the main office area. I don't do any big advertising or anything like that. People come because they’ve known me for years and they know I’ll have what they need for dinner. Sometimes I stay open late if someone calls and asks me to wait for them to arrive.
