Pari Dhani

Pari Dhani is our shop situated near the Janakdeep Complex on Kotri Road, which is right off the main Gumanpura Road. We have been here for a good number of years now. The area is quite lively, with plenty of other shops and people constantly moving around. Our place isn't anything fancy. We have some shelves and a couple of counters where we do our business. Every morning, we arrive and open up the doors to let some fresh air in, though usually, it is just the smell of traffic from Gumanpura Road. We know most of the people who work in the nearby shops, and we often share a bit of gossip or news over the morning papers. It is a local kind of life. We don't spend money on big advertisements or fancy signs. We just rely on people seeing us as they walk toward Janakdeep Complex. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to scramble to move things away from the entrance so they don't get wet. It is those little things that keep us busy. We take pride in just being a steady part of the neighborhood. The shop might be a little dusty at times and the paint could probably use a touch-up, but it is where we belong. We just keep things simple and try to be helpful to whoever wanders in from the street.
