Padam Provision Store

Our store is located in Mahaveer Nagar in Kota, which is a pretty lively neighborhood to be in. We deal in all the basic groceries that a family needs to keep their kitchen running from day to day. From rice and wheat to smaller items like matches and candles, we try to keep a bit of everything on hand. The shop stays quite busy because there are so many houses nearby. We often find ourselves chatting with the residents while we weigh out their lentils or pack up their bags. It’s a small space, so we have to be clever about how we stack the crates and jars so we don't trip over them during the rush. Sometimes the delivery trucks come at the same time and the whole place gets a bit chaotic for an hour or two while we unload. We just deal with it one box at a time. We aren't trying to be a big fancy supermarket; we just want to be the place where you can grab what you need without a fuss. The floors get dusty from the street outside, so we spend a lot of time sweeping up. It’s just honest work for us. We’ve been here long enough that we feel like we are part of the family for some of our regular shoppers. We keep our doors open fairly late so people can stop by after their work shifts are over for the evening.
