New Amar Engineering

New Amar Engineering is tucked into 19 A R K Puram in the Bangali Colony area. It is a bit more of a residential neighborhood, so we try not to be too loud too early in the morning. Still, an engineering shop is never going to be silent. We have a small setup here where we handle various repairs and small-scale manufacturing. It’s mostly just a few of us working together. The shop floor is a mix of oil stains and metal shavings, which is pretty standard for a place like this. We don’t have a website or any of that stuff. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends. I’ve lived around here for a long time, so I know most of the people walking by the door. We do a lot of odd jobs—sometimes it’s a gate that needs fixing, or a bracket for a machine. We don’t turn much away if we have the tools for it. My workspace is a bit of a mess, with wrenches and bolts scattered everywhere, but I know exactly where everything is. It’s a humble operation, but we take care of the people who come to us. We just focus on doing a decent job and making sure the customer is happy when they pick up their stuff. It’s not a complicated life, but it keeps the lights on and we enjoy the work we do with our hands.
