N/W Engg.

Our engineering shop is located at 1-Dh-16 in Dadabari, Kota. Rajasthan is known for its heat, and our workshop gets pretty warm in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans running and get on with it. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. It’s N/W Engg., and we mostly handle mechanical repairs and small fabrication jobs for people nearby. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and there’s always the smell of oil in the air. We don’t have a front desk or a receptionist. If you come in, you just talk to whoever isn't busy with a machine. Dadabari is a good area, plenty of other shops around so it's never really quiet. We have some old lathes and drills that have been with us since we started. They aren't the newest models but they still do a solid job. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for parts to arrive from bigger cities. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just know where we are. We try to be fair with our prices and honest about how long a job will take. It’s just a small group of us here, working hard and drinking tea when we get a break. It's not a big corporate factory, just a local engineering place in Kota. We take on all kinds of tasks, from fixing a broken tractor part to welding gates for the houses around here. It's varied work.
