Multipurpose Shopee

Multipurpose Shopee is the name of our small shop here on Opera Road in Mahaveer Nagar II. We have been at Shop No-407 for quite a few years now. Most people in the neighborhood know us because we are right in front of Spoon Restaurant. If you are walking around this part of Kota, you will probably see our sign hanging out front. It is a busy area and we try to keep things stocked for the people who live nearby. It is not a huge place, but we keep a bit of everything, which is why we have the name we do. Usually, it is just one of us behind the wooden counter. We open up the shutters early and stay until the sun goes down. The street gets really crowded during the lunch hours, mostly because of the restaurant across from us. Sometimes it is hard to find a spot for a bike right outside, but our customers usually manage. We deal with all sorts of daily items. It is nothing fancy, just the basic things that people actually need. Living and working in Rajasthan means we have to deal with a lot of heat, so we keep the ceiling fans going all day. We have gotten to know a lot of the local families by their first names. If you need something fast, you just stop by. We handle all the inventory ourselves. It is a simple setup.
