Mohta Bandhu

We are Mohta Bandhu and our shop is located in Bheru Gali, right inside Rampura Bazar. It’s a family-run place, mostly just brothers and a few helpers working through the day. The bazar is always moving, so there is never a quiet moment outside our door. We sell various items that people in the neighborhood need, mostly traditional goods and supplies. Bheru Gali is a narrow lane, so it takes some effort to navigate the motorcycles and pedestrians, but we like being here. The shop is full of shelves from floor to ceiling. We don't have a lot of space to spare, so everything is tucked away in its own corner. If you need something, you usually have to ask because it’s hard to find on your own. We spend our mornings opening up and getting the dust off the counters. The afternoon is for dealing with the suppliers and the regulars who stop by for a chat. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to provide what we have at a price that makes sense. It’s a simple life. Sometimes we sit on the wooden benches outside when it’s not too hot. We’ve been in Rampura Bazar for years and we know the faces of the people who walk past every day. It’s a community and we are just one part of it. We keep things real and don't worry about being fancy. We just work until the day is done.
