Manu Architects

If you head over to Indira Market in Talwandi, you’ll find us at B-4. Manu Architects has been part of this little corner for some time. The market is always buzzing, especially during the middle of the day, so there’s never really a quiet moment outside our door. Inside the office, it’s a different story. We try to keep things organized, but with all the site visits and client meetings, the desks usually end up a bit cluttered with sketches and notes. We handle a lot of local residential work, mostly just helping people figure out how to use their space better. It’s a lot of back-and-forth talk about walls, windows, and where the stairs should go. We don't use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone; we just talk like normal people about their homes. The office is simple, with a few chairs for visitors and our workspace in the back. Living and working around Talwandi means we know the local styles pretty well. We aren’t some high-end studio with a lot of polish. We are just local folks who know how to draw up a plan that works. Some days are slow and we just sit and sketch, while other days are a total rush to get a permit sorted. It’s a basic, honest way to make a living in a busy market area, dealing with everyday building tasks.
