Laxmi Bricks

Laxmi Bricks is over in Sanjay Colony, right in the Chhabra area. Most people find us by looking for Mama Hotel, since it’s a big landmark nearby. We aren't tucked away in some industrial park; we are right here where people live and work. The business is pretty straightforward. We make bricks and we sell them to anyone who needs them for their home or a project. We don’t have a big corporate office with air conditioning. Our office is just a small room where we keep the books and take some tea when it gets too cold or too hot outside. The yard is usually full of activity, with tractors coming and going. We know most of the drivers by name. It’s a bit noisy sometimes, but that’s the sound of work getting done. We don’t use any complicated words to describe what we do. We just make sure the bricks are solid and ready to be used. Sometimes we run out of stock during the busy season and have to tell people to wait a few days, which isn't great, but we try our best. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep things moving. We like being part of the colony and seeing the new houses go up using our materials. It makes the long days and the heavy lifting feel like they are worth the effort for all of us.
