Aadhunik Gamle

The shop is on Kenal Road right in the Krishna Nagar Patel Market area. We have been here for a good while now. Mostly we sell all kinds of flower pots. Some are made of clay and others are plastic or cement. It gets quite dusty because of the road traffic, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the pots so they look okay. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us moving things around and helping people load their cars. Sometimes people come in looking for a specific size and we have to dig through the stacks in the back to find it. The sun can be really hot in the afternoon and there isn't much shade here. We usually sit on some plastic stools near the entrance. It is a simple place where we keep things organized as much as possible. You can see our shop from a distance because of the tall stacks of red clay pots. We don't do any fancy marketing or anything. People just stop by when they are driving past or visiting the market for other things. We talk to the neighbors and drink tea. That is pretty much how our day goes. We just try to keep the stock full so nobody leaves empty-handed. It is hard work lifting the heavy cement ones, but we are used to it by now.
