My shop, Kapoor's Watch Mobile Shop, is located in the Mahaveer Nagar Extension area of Kota. It’s a decent-sized neighborhood, and I’ve been serving the people here for a while. I mainly focus on fixing watches and mobile phones. It’s a simple setup with a workbench and some display cases for accessories like straps and chargers. I don't have a big staff, it’s mostly just me taking care of things. Rajasthan summers are no joke, so I spend a lot of time inside with the fan going while I look through my magnifying glass. I see a lot of students from the local coaching centers coming in with broken phone screens or wanting a quick repair. Then there are the older folks who bring in watches they’ve owned for thirty years. I enjoy the mix of people. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a practical place to get things fixed. I keep my tools in reach and there’s usually a pile of devices waiting for me to look at them. I’ve learned most of what I know just by doing it every day. I try to be fair with what I charge because I know everyone is working hard for their money. Kota is a busy town, but Mahaveer Nagar Extension has its own local feel. I like being part of it. It’s not about being the biggest shop, just being the one people can rely on when their watch stops.
