Jodhpur Antiques

We have been over at A-437, 3rd Road in the Duleh Bhawan building for quite some time now. Sardarpura is a busy neighborhood, and our shop, Jodhpur Antiques, is right in the middle of all the noise and people. The building itself is an older one, and it stays a bit cool inside despite the Jodhpur sun beating down outside. If you walk in, you’ll see that the place is pretty packed with all sorts of things we have collected over the years. There is usually a layer of dust on everything because cleaning it all is a job that never really ends. We aren't a fancy showroom with bright lights; it's more like a storage space where people can come and poke around. Usually, there are just two or three of us here, either moving a heavy wooden chest or trying to find space for something new. The tea guy comes by every afternoon, and we usually take a break then. Sometimes folks from the neighborhood stop in just to see what’s new, or we spend time talking to the other shop owners on 3rd Road. It’s a bit cluttered and it can be hard to move around, but that is just the way we like it. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the items we have. If you’re looking for the place, just look for the big sign on the road. It's an honest business and we just do our daily work here.
