Jitendra General Store

If you are walking near Subash Circle in Kota, you'll see our shop right there on the main road at Kaithooni Pole. It’s Jitendra General Store, though most folks just call it the shop at the circle. We carry all sorts of small things you might need suddenly. Soap, notebooks, some snacks, and local household items are usually what people come in for. Being on the main road means it's always noisy with traffic, but it makes it easy for people to stop their bikes and grab something quickly. The space inside is quite tight because we try to fit as much as possible on the racks. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, especially when new stock arrives on Mondays and we haven't put it away yet. I’ve been running this place for years now. My family helps out too. We aren't trying to be a big mall. We just want to make sure if a neighbor needs a lightbulb or some salt at 8 PM, we have it ready for them. The weather in Rajasthan gets really hot, so the afternoons are usually quiet while everyone stays indoors. But once the sun goes down, the whole Subash Circle area wakes up and we stay busy until closing. It’s just a regular life here. No big promises, just a shop that stays open and sells goods to the local community in Kota.
