Our little cafe is right at Chahal Chowk. It’s a busy intersection, so there is always noise from motorcycles and cars outside. We have a few freezers lined up against the wall and some tables where people can sit down for a bit. It’s not a fancy place with a huge menu. We just have the usual flavors that people like. On hot days, the shop gets really crowded and we have to work fast to keep up. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to worry about the ice cream melting, but usually, the backup kicks in. The floor is tile, which makes it easier to clean when someone drops a cone. We don't have a lot of decorations, maybe just a few old pictures on the wall. Chahal Chowk is a good spot because everyone passes by eventually. We spend a lot of time wiping down the tables and refilling the napkin holders. It’s a simple business. We aren't trying to be a big gourmet shop. We just want to have a cold treat ready for whoever walks in. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s quiet in the evening. It’s just a regular neighborhood cafe. We know most of the regulars who come by after work. It’s a decent way to spend the day at the chowk. We usually keep the doors open until quite late in the summer months.
