We have been here in Ladpura Main Bazaar for quite a while now. Most people around here know where to find us. It is a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the market first opens up. My father used to sit at this same counter, and now I do. We deal mostly in ghee, obviously. People come in with their own containers sometimes, or they take what we have ready. It is a simple setup, just some shelves and the big tins. The smell of the market is always there, horses, motorbikes, and other shops selling spices nearby. We do not do anything fancy with the packaging. If you walk down the main street, you will see the sign. Sometimes the traffic gets bad right in front of the door, making it hard to unload the new stock. I usually get here around nine. There is a lot of dust from the road, so we spend a good amount of time cleaning the glass. It is just how things are in this part of town. We see the same faces every week. Some people stay to chat for a minute about the weather or the prices, others are in a hurry to get back home. We just keep things moving along. It is not a big place, but it serves the purpose for everyone living nearby who needs stuff for their kitchen.
