Deepak Provision Store

Our little shop, Deepak Provision Store, is situated right by the Chhawani Chouraha bus stand here in Kaithun 87. It’s a very busy spot because of all the people coming and going from the buses. We mostly sell things that travelers might need, like water bottles, snacks, and small toiletries. But the local families also come to us for their daily flour and oil. The noise from the buses is constant, so you have to speak up a bit when you’re inside. The shelves are packed high with all sorts of plastic containers and cardboard boxes. We try to keep things fresh, but sometimes the stock moves slower than we expect. My father started this place years ago, and not much has changed since then. We have a small stool outside where people sometimes sit while waiting for their ride. It gets very crowded in the mornings. We don’t have a big neon sign, just the name painted on the wall. The floor is made of old stone and it’s seen a lot of feet over the years. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use candles, which makes the shop look quite different. It’s hard work being open seven days a week, but the bus stand never sleeps, so we stay open too. We usually have a bit of conversation with the regulars who are waiting for the bus to Kaithun. It's just a regular part of the day here.
