Dd Icecream

Dd Icecream is located right on Kota Road in the Gopalpura area. We are tucked in near the Jamunia Hotel and that big Reliance Petrol Pump, so it is quite easy to spot us if you are driving past. We started this small ice cream place because the heat around here can be quite something in the summer. We have a few freezers and some chairs for people to sit down if they want to get out of the sun for a minute. Most of our customers are folks stopping for fuel or people living nearby in the village who want a treat after dinner. It is a family-run thing mostly. We spend a lot of our time checking the temperatures and making sure the power doesn't go out, which happens sometimes around here. We just deal with it and keep the lids closed tight when it does. The shop isn't very large, but we keep it tidy enough for the guests. You can see the traffic moving on the main road from the front window. It gets noisy with the trucks honking, but we are used to it by now. We don't have a big fancy menu, just the regular flavors that everyone likes. Sometimes the kids from the local school come by in groups and it gets a bit chaotic, but it is fine. We like being part of the neighborhood. It is honest work and keeps us busy throughout the week, especially during the hot months when everyone wants something sweet and cold.
