British Paints

British Paints is over at H-39 in the Chambal Industrial Area, right across from Multimetal. We've been at this spot for a long time now. It’s an industrial zone, so it gets pretty dusty and noisy with all the trucks moving around, but we are used to it. The shop itself is nothing fancy. We have rows of shelves filled with different cans of paint and some old wooden counters. People from around the area stop by when they are working on a project. Sometimes they know exactly what they want, and other times they just show us a picture on their phone. We try to help them find a match. Our staff is just a few local guys who know how to mix the colors and handle the stock. We spend a lot of time in the back moving heavy buckets around. The mornings are usually the busiest when the contractors come in. By the afternoon, it slows down a bit and we catch up on the paperwork or clean up the spills. It’s a straightforward business. We don't have any big flashy signs or a showroom with nice lights. It's just a practical place where people get their supplies. The roof leaks a tiny bit when it rains hard, but we just put a bucket under it and keep going. We like being part of the Chambal area. It’s a hardworking part of town and we fit right in here.
