Anand Wala

Our place, Anand Wala, is situated on Gumanpura Rawatbhata Road in the Gumanpura area. It’s a busy stretch of road, and there is almost never a quiet moment outside our front door. We’ve been running this shop for a while, and it has become a second home for us. The building is older and has its own little quirks, like the way the door creaks when it’s windy, but we wouldn't have it any other way. We spend most of our time standing behind the counter, waiting for the next person to walk in. The people who travel along Gumanpura Rawatbhata Road are always in a hurry, but some of them take a minute to stop and see us. We don't use any marketing tricks or try to act like we are bigger than we are. We are just a local business trying to do things the right way. The shelves are packed with all sorts of things, and sometimes it takes us a moment to find exactly what a customer is looking for. It’s a bit messy at times, especially when a big delivery arrives and there are boxes everywhere. We just work through it and keep the place going. Being in Gumanpura means we are right in the thick of things. If you are ever heading down the road toward Rawatbhata, you will see Anand Wala right there. We are usually open until the evening traffic starts to thin out and we finally close.
