We've been here on Chhawani Road for quite a while now. Rani Fancy Store is just a small place, really. We keep things like bangles, ribbons, and small items people need for weddings or just everyday dressing up. It gets pretty busy in the afternoons when the ladies from the neighborhood stop by after finishing their chores. The shop isn't fancy despite the name, it's just a regular spot with shelves piled high with plastic bins and cardboard boxes. Sometimes we struggle to find where we put a specific color of thread or a certain size of safety pin, but we usually get there in the end. People know us around here for being a bit cluttered but having what they need. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just the physical shop where you can see what you're buying before paying. Most days it’s just me or my brother sitting at the counter under the old ceiling fan. We try to keep the stock fresh, though sometimes things sit for a bit if nobody's looking for that style. The lighting isn't the greatest, but it works for seeing the patterns. If you're walking down Chhawani Road, you'll see our sign. It’s a simple setup. We don't do much advertising because the local folks already know where we are and what we have on the shelves. It’s just a normal part of the street. It makes the neighborhood feel more complete.
