Shyam Steel Fabrication

Our fabrication shop is in Ward No.18 on Court Road. We are directly opposite the Das Complex and quite close to VIP Chowk, so it’s a pretty easy place to find if you are in the neighborhood. We work with steel, so the place is always full of long bars, heavy plates, and the noise of grinders. We make all sorts of things, from simple gates to more complicated structures that people need for their houses or businesses. The workshop is mostly open to the air so we don't get too hot, but the dust from the road and the metal shavings still get everywhere. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. If you want to see what we do, you just look at the pieces we are currently working on in the middle of the floor. Most of the time, we are busy measuring, cutting, and welding. It’s a lot of physical labor, and our clothes usually show it by the end of the shift. We’ve been here long enough that most people around VIP Chowk know who we are. We don't do much in the way of advertising; people just see our sign or hear the noise and come in. It’s a straightforward shop where we just focus on making things out of steel that will last a long time. We just take one job at a time and try to get it done properly for the customer.
