Jain Public School

Our school is located at Hig-05, C1, right here in Korba. It is a pretty standard building where we spend most of our daylight hours. Every morning starts about the same way with the gates being pushed open and the dust settling on the steps before the first group of kids shows up. We don't have a giant campus, but the rooms we do have stay pretty full throughout the week. You can hear the fans humming in the background of almost every lesson because Korba gets quite warm most of the year. The walls have some old charts on them that have been there for quite a while. We spend a lot of our time just managing the day-to-day stuff, like making sure there is enough chalk and that the attendance registers are filled out correctly. It is a lot of routine and repeating the same tasks. During the lunch break, the noise level goes up quite a bit and you can smell all the different tiffins from the hallway. We try to keep things in order, but with so many children around, there is always a bit of a mess to clean up at the end of the day. It is just a regular place where people come to work and learn. We aren't doing anything fancy, just following the schedule and making sure the lessons get done before the final bell rings and everyone heads home to the 495677 area. It gets quiet fast once they leave.
