Out here in Vill. Kunturkhal, near Panjiaguda, things move a bit differently than they do in the bigger cities. Vishnu Granophyre India Pvt. Ltd. is basically situated right in the middle of it all. We spend most of our time working with the stone that comes through here. It is heavy, loud work, and there is always a layer of dust on everything, but that is just part of the job. Most of the guys working here are from around the local area, so we all know each other pretty well. The yard is usually full of slabs and pieces of rock waiting to be moved or processed. We don't have a big fancy showroom or a team of people in suits. Instead, you'll mostly find us in our work gear, dealing with the machinery or the transport trucks. The road out to Panjiaguda can be a bit rough sometimes, especially when the weather turns, but we manage to keep things moving. We’ve been at this for a while now. If someone needs to look at the stone or figure out a delivery, they just drive down and find us. It’s practical work. We focus on the stones and making sure the pieces are cut right. There isn't much more to it than that. It's just a regular workplace where we try to get the day's tasks done before the sun goes down over the village.
