Biranchi Bricks

You will find Biranchi Bricks over in Village- Kotpad. We are set up right near the Msc office, so that is usually how people find their way to us. Working with bricks means we are always dealing with mud and fire and a lot of heavy lifting. It is the kind of work that leaves your hands rough, but we don't mind it much. The area around Kotpad is fairly quiet, except for when we have the kilns going or trucks are moving the finished bricks out. We have a small crew and most of us have been living around here all our lives. We don't have a website or anything like that because we are usually too busy at the site. The sun beats down on the open ground here and it gets quite dry, which is actually good for the bricks but hard on us. We just focus on making sure the piles are stacked right and nothing breaks. Every morning starts with a cup of tea and checking the weather because rain can really mess up our work schedule. Sometimes things go slow and other times it is a mad rush to get everything moved before the dark. We are just a local bunch of people trying to make a living in this corner of the village. It isn't a glamorous job, but it is what we know how to do and we keep at it.
