Koraput Organic

We are based out of New Jani Guda. The business is called Koraput Organic. It’s mostly just us working with the local soil and what it grows. We don’t use any of those heavy chemicals you see in the big industrial farms. Everything we do here is done by hand or with simple tools. It’s a lot slower that way, but it feels right for what we’re trying to do. The weather out here can be unpredictable, so some seasons are better than others. We spend most of our time out in the fields or checking the storage bins. The place isn’t much to look at, just some land and a few sheds for the equipment. People come by when they want something grown the old way. We aren’t interested in fancy labels or big marketing campaigns. We just focus on the crops and making sure they get to the people who need them. It’s hard work and the days are long. Most of the folks working here have lived in this area their whole lives. We know the land pretty well by now. When the harvest comes, everyone is busy from sunrise to sunset. We just try to keep things simple and honest. If the produce is good, that’s all that really matters to us. It’s a quiet life for the most part, but it keeps us busy enough throughout the year.
