Powerdrive Engineers

Our small office is tucked away in Flat 202 at Poo Residency. It is right there in Ashokanagar, which is a decent part of Mangalore if you don’t mind the humidity. Being in an apartment building makes it feel a bit more like a home than a stiff office. We share the space with a lot of paperwork and a few computers that have seen better days. Gopalkrishna and the rest of us usually start the morning with some coffee before digging into the engineering drawings. It is a quiet spot, mostly. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day. We aren't a massive corporation with glass walls; we are just a small team trying to figure out technical solutions without making it too complicated. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, and we have to take the stairs, which is good for the legs I suppose. Mangalore has its own rhythm, and we try to stick to it. We deal with people who need things fixed or designed, and we do our bit without a lot of fuss. It’s honest work. We don't spend money on fancy ads because most people find us through word of mouth or by just knowing where we are located. The rainy season here is something else, but it keeps the dust down around the residency and makes the coffee taste a little bit better while we work.
