We are based out of Kirandul, specifically over at Qtr. No. III/DS/79 in the DLM Colony. This is the spot where National Minerals Development Corporation Ltd. does its work in the Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh. Living and working out here means we are right in the thick of things. The days can get really long and that famous red dust seems to find its way into everything, but that is just how life is in Kirandul. My neighbors are also the people I work with, so we end up talking about the job even when we are supposed to be off the clock. It is a very tight-knit community.
