Swiss Watch House & Mobiles

Swiss Watch House & Mobiles is located right near the Central Bank of India here in Ayoor. It’s a handy spot because people often stop in while they’re out doing their banking or other errands. We’ve got a mix of things in the shop, mostly watches and mobile phones, and the shelves are usually pretty full. It’s not a huge place, but we make the most of the space we have. There’s always a bit of a ticking sound in the background from all the clocks on the wall. We spend a lot of our time doing repairs, squinting at small watch parts or trying to fix a cracked phone screen. It can be fiddly work, but it’s what we’ve been doing for years. The shop feels lived-in, with tools scattered on the workbench and boxes of parts tucked away in the corners. We get a lot of locals coming in just to chat or ask a quick question about their phone settings. We aren't trying to be a fancy mall store; we just want to be a reliable place where people in Ayoor can get their stuff fixed or find a new watch. The lighting could probably be better, but it works for us. When the bank next door gets busy, we usually see a few more faces. It’s just a steady, quiet kind of life here, looking after the small things that people use every day. We close up when the sun goes down.
