Phc Perumon

Phc Perumon is located right in the heart of the Perumon area in Panayam, and it has been a part of this community for quite some time now. It is the kind of place where everyone knows the way, even if there are not many big signs around. Being a public health center, it stays quite busy from the early morning hours. You will see people waiting on the benches outside, mostly neighbors from just down the road or the next village over. The building itself is simple and practical, focused on getting things done rather than looking modern. We have the usual rooms for checkups and the small pharmacy area where the medicines are kept. It gets a little loud sometimes when the waiting area is full of families, but that is just how it is here. The staff here are mostly locals or people who have worked in this area for years, so there is a lot of talking and catching up happening along with the work. We see a lot of kids coming in for their shots and older folks stopping by for their regular checkups. It is not like a big city hospital with glass walls; it is more like a local hub where people come because it is close to home. The trees around the building give some shade during the hot afternoons, which helps keep the waiting area a bit cooler for everyone sitting there.
