Angel Plastics

If you ever find yourself walking down Chamakkada Road, you’ll probably see us at number 2. Angel Plastics is basically a big room full of every kind of plastic item you could think of, from buckets to heavy-duty crates. We’ve been in this spot for years and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us, but we’re still here doing the same thing. The building is older and has its quirks, like that one door that sticks when it rains too much. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see one of us sitting near the entrance. We spend most of our mornings checking the inventory and talking to the drivers who bring in the new stock. It’s noisy because of the traffic on Chamakkada Road, but you get used to it after a week or so. Sometimes we have to use flashlights in the back when the bulb blows out and we haven't changed it yet. We don’t really do fancy displays or anything; we just stack things up so people can see what’s available. Sometimes it’s a bit of a maze in there with all the containers piled high. Customers come in looking for specific sizes, and we usually know exactly which corner of the back room it’s tucked away in. It’s a simple life, honestly. We open the shutters early, sweep the front, and get to work. There’s always someone stopping by for a chat, which makes the day go by faster.
