Dream Decor

If you are looking for us, we are right near Koonayil School in Paravur. Being so close to the school means it gets pretty noisy in the afternoons when the kids are heading home, but we don't mind the energy. Dream Decor is situated right by the Kalakund Services Bank, which makes it easy to explain to people who haven't visited us before. Inside, it's a bit of a mix of everything we've managed to fit on the shelves. We deal with curtains and wallpaper and things to make a house look like a home, but it's a messy process sometimes. There's always fabric scraps or catalogs lying around the counter. The fan makes a bit of a clicking sound when it's on high, but it keeps us cool enough during the humid months. Most of our neighbors stop by just to chat about the local news before they even look at the samples. We try to keep things simple here. We don't have a big fancy showroom like the ones you see in the city, but we have what people need for their houses around here. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the narrow roads, but we manage. It’s a local business, through and through. We know the families around here and what they like. The shop isn't perfect, but we put in the hours and keep the doors open from early morning until the sun goes down to help everyone out.
