A Plus Tuition Centre

A Plus Tuition Centre is a small place located in Thazhava, within the Kollam district. We are basically an after-school spot where kids come to get a bit of extra help with their studies. The address is 690523. It’s not a big institution, just a few rooms where we sit down with students and go over their lessons. Most of the children who come here live nearby in Thazhava. We usually open up in the afternoons once the regular schools have closed. It can get a bit cramped when a lot of students show up at once, but we manage. We have simple desks and chairs and plenty of notebooks lying around. It’s a quiet environment for the most part, except when someone is explaining a difficult math problem or a science concept. We don’t have any fancy marketing or big signs. Most people find us through word of mouth in the village. The goal is just to help the kids understand what they are learning in class so they don’t fall behind. It’s a lot of repetitive work, going over the same chapters, but it helps them in the long run. We’ve been doing this for a while now and know most of the families in the area. It’s just a regular tuition center helping out the local students as best as we can every evening.
