We are situated at 228/A Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road in Kolkata. It is a busy location, and the building stays active throughout the day and night. Because it is a BPO setup, the lights are usually on no matter what time you happen to pass by. The inside of the office is basically a big maze of cubicles and headsets. It is not exactly what you would call a cozy place, but it is where the work gets done. You will hear dozens of people talking all at once, mostly answering calls or discussing some technical problem that needs fixing. The break room is probably the most popular spot in the whole building, where people grab a quick tea or some snacks to keep themselves going through the long hours. We have a lot of young people working here, so the energy stays pretty high, but the shifts can definitely be tiring. The commute to Raja Ram Mohan Roy Road can be a real pain during peak hours because of the heavy traffic, but we are all used to it by now. We do not have many decorations on the walls, just the necessary signs and maybe a few clocks showing different time zones. It is a very functional environment where we focus on answering queries and solving problems for people on the other end of the phone line.
