Alphabets

You’ll find us at 215 Rabindra Sarani, which is near the Marwari Relief Society in Burrabazar. If you’ve ever been to Burrabazar, you know it’s a place that never really stops. It’s full of trade and noise and people constantly moving. Our office, Alphabets, fits right into that. It’s a bit of a cluttered space, filled with papers, ink, and various samples we’ve collected over the years. We’ve been here for a long time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, even though the basic feel stays the same. The office isn't anything fancy. We have some old wooden desks and chairs that have been with us since the start. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of sales people. Most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from someone else. We do a lot of printing and design work, mostly for local traders and shops in the area. It’s a lot of back and forth, making sure the colors are right and the text is correct. Sometimes the traffic outside is so loud we have to shout to be heard, but that’s just life in Burrabazar. We try to keep things simple here. We don't have a mission statement or any corporate goals. We just want to get through our list of jobs for the day and make sure we do a fair job for everyone.
