Being near Fancy Market means there is always something going on outside our door. We are located at 50/1 Kabitirtha Sarani. The traffic in Watgunge can be a bit much sometimes, especially in the afternoons, but we are used to it by now. People from around Khidirpur know where we are. It’s a busy, lively area. Inside the clinic, it’s a lot slower than the street. We deal with all sorts of things, from basic checkups to the more painful stuff people put off for way too long. We see a lot of local families. Most of our day is spent at the sink or looking into mouths with a small mirror. It’s honest work. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to deal with that right now. We keep the equipment clean and that’s what really matters. You can hear the horns honking outside while you’re sitting in the chair. Sometimes we have to talk a bit louder so patients can hear us over the market noise. We don’t do much advertising. People just find us because they live nearby or their cousin told them we were okay at what we do. We’re just regular people trying to do a decent job with everyone’s teeth. It gets hot in the afternoons, but the fan keeps things moving. We stay open until the evening usually. It’s just how things go here at the clinic.
