Smilex International

Our place, Smilex International, sits right on the ground floor of number 12 Kailash Bpse Street. Right across from Sreemani Market, it's pretty easy to spot. Because we are near Vivekananda Road, there is always noise and people moving about. A good bit of time has been spent in this building. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks and some filing cabinets with boxes piled up in the corners. We handle a lot of paperwork and shipping stuff. Around midday, things get hectic when the market across the street is in full swing. Traffic sometimes makes it hard to get deliveries in, but we manage. We usually have the door open to let some air in, though it brings in all the street noise too. It’s a small team here. Since we know each other well, we spend most of the day coordinating tasks without much fuss. There’s a tea stall nearby that we visit way too often. Even though the floor is a bit uneven in the back, it doesn't really bother us anymore. We just work through the tasks one by one. It isn't a glamorous job, but it keeps us moving. People coming from the market often poke their heads in to ask for directions. We don't mind. It feels like we are part of the daily rhythm of this street. We just keep our heads down and get the work done right here near the market.
