Working here near the temple means we hear the bells and the prayers every day, which is a nice backdrop to our work. The humidity in this part of West Bengal can be quite heavy, especially during the monsoon season. We spend a lot of time making sure the stock doesn't get damp and that the floors stay dry when people walk in with wet umbrellas. It’s a lot of cleaning and moving things around.
