We are tucked away on the second floor of 16 Mangoe Lane. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s full of old buildings and narrow paths. Nu-Fur has been here for years, and the space has a lot of history to it. We don't have a big neon sign or a fancy lobby. You just walk up the stairs and you’ll find us. We deal with furniture, specifically the kind of stuff that goes into offices or homes that need a bit of updating. Our work area is often filled with fabric samples, wood chips, and various tools. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, but it’s a productive mess. We like being on Mangoe Lane because it feels like the heart of the old business district. The walls are thick, and the ceilings are high, which helps keep it a bit cooler in the summer. We are a small group of people who just enjoy making and selling furniture. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. If a chair is broken, we fix it. If someone needs a new desk, we find them one. It’s simple and honest. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming to us for a long time. We appreciate that loyalty. It’s just a regular workday for us, keeping things moving and making sure the furniture looks decent. There is always someone working on a frame in the corner.
