Victory Gas Alarm Co

Our place is at 32A, Trust House, right across from where the Indian Airlines office sits on Chittaranjan Avenue in Bowbazar. It’s an old part of the city, and the building has that classic look with thick walls and a very slow elevator. We make gas alarms here. Most of our day is spent at small workbenches with soldering irons and piles of tiny electronic parts. It’s a bit of a maze inside with all the shelves full of plastic casings and circuit boards. We don't have a fancy lobby. You just walk in and you'll see us working. Chittaranjan Avenue is always busy with traffic, but we stay tucked away in our corner of the building. Sometimes the noise from the street is quite loud, especially when the trams go by. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. Our team is small, just a few people who know how to put these alarms together. We don't use any high-tech marketing. We just make sure the sensors are calibrated right so they go off when they are supposed to. It’s a practical job and we take it seriously because it matters for safety. We usually have a bit of a mess on the desks, but we know where every screwdriver and wire is located. It’s just how we do things in Bowbazar.
