Being located near the Paligan Railway Station in Kolkata means there is always movement around us. You can hear the trains and the crowds from the platform if the windows are open. We set up this clinic here because so many people pass through the station every single day. It makes sense for a health clinic to be where people can actually reach it. The address is simple to find once you get off the train. We have a small team here. Most of us take the train to work ourselves, so we are part of that daily commute. The office inside isn't very big, but we have enough room for the patients who stop by. Sometimes people come in while they are waiting for their next train. It is a bit of a hectic area, honestly. Kolkata is like that, especially around the stations. We deal with all sorts of regular health issues. We don't have any big fancy equipment, just what is necessary for a daily clinic. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the floor is kept clean. We stay busy mostly because of the location. It is a practical spot for anyone living in the Paligan area or just passing through for work. We keep our own hours and try to help whoever walks in the door.
