You can find us on the third floor at 42 Baranashi Ghosh Street. Vedyaraj India Private Limited has been based here for some time now. Being up on the third floor means a lot of stairs every day, but we’re used to it. The street outside is usually busy with people and carts, but once you get up here, it’s a bit quieter. We handle a variety of products, and our day is mostly spent on the phone or working through different spreadsheets. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s ours. We don't have a big corporate structure or fancy titles for everyone. Most of us just do whatever needs doing at the moment, whether that’s packing a small box or answering the door for a delivery. The space is a bit old, with high ceilings and some peeling paint, but it’s a good place to work. We don't spend money on fancy furniture because we’d rather just keep the business stable. We aren't looking to be the next big thing, just to keep our customers happy with what we provide. It’s an honest way to spend the day. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when things slow down a little bit. We’ve been in this part of town for a long time and we don't plan on moving anytime soon. It’s just us, working hard in an old building on Baranashi Ghosh Street.
