Varak Gourmet Llp

Varak Gourmet Llp operates out of a quiet spot on Kalabagan Lane in the 700033 area of Kolkata. We are actually located at Amitava Ghosh’s place, so it feels a lot more like a home than a traditional office. It’s tucked away in a residential neighborhood, which is nice because it’s much quieter than the main roads, though the lane can be a bit tight if a big truck tries to come through. We deal with gourmet food items, but don’t let the name fool you into thinking we are wearing suits and ties. Most of the time we are just in our regular clothes, checking on stock and making sure everything is stored properly. There is a lot of paperwork involved in running a business like this, and our desks are usually covered in invoices and handwritten notes. Sometimes the neighbor’s kids are playing outside and it gets a bit noisy, but we don't mind much. We’ve been here for a while and the people on the street know us. It is a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just our work and this little space in Kolkata where we get things done every day. It’s a lot of simple, repetitive tasks that keep the business going, and we just take it one day at a time without any big fuss.
