Ultimate Video Games

We are tucked away at No. 60/2/4B Lake Road. It is a good spot because we are right beside the Buddhist Temple and near the Thakuria Bridge in Gariahat. If you know that area, you know it is always humming with people and traffic. Our shop is full of consoles and discs and wires. It stays pretty dark inside so people can see the television screens better. We get a lot of younger kids coming in after school, and some older guys who have been gaming for years. It is a bit cramped when it gets busy on the weekends. We have a couple of old fans that try their best to keep the place cool. Sometimes the machines get a bit hot after running all day. We spend a lot of time cleaning controllers and checking that the discs aren't scratched. People come here to hang out and play for an hour or two. It is not a fancy arcade, just our little shop on Lake Road. We know the temple monks who walk by every morning. The bridge nearby makes it easy to give people directions when they call. Just look for the bridge, we tell them. We started this because we liked playing games ourselves when we were younger. Now it is just what we do every day. We don't have a big sign out front, but the noise usually lets people know they found us.
