We are located at 21 Cotton Street in the heart of Kolkata, 700007. If you know this area, you know how incredibly busy it gets. The streets are filled with porters carrying heavy loads and traders shouting back and forth. Our office is right in the middle of all that chaos. It is a small space, mostly filled with desks that have seen better days and piles of paperwork that never seem to get any smaller. We focus on agro trading, so there is a lot of time spent on the phone or talking to people who walk in off the street. The air is thick with the smell of the market and the sound of horns honking outside. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room; you just walk in and find someone to talk to. It’s a very practical way of doing business. We keep our overhead low and our focus on the trade. Most of our days are spent checking prices and coordinating logistics while drinking small cups of sweet tea. It’s not a quiet place by any means, but it’s where we feel most at home. The wooden furniture is worn from years of use, and the walls are covered with old calendars and notes. It’s just how things are on Cotton Street, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
