We are up on the 6th floor of Poddar Point here on Park Street. It’s usually pretty loud outside because of the traffic, but once you get inside and the lift finally opens, it’s a bit quieter. Twoplus Fashion is where we spend most of our daylight hours. The office isn't anything fancy, just a lot of desks and rolls of fabric sitting in the corners. We’ve been at this for a while now. Most mornings start with someone making a big pot of tea while the rest of us try to figure out the schedule for the day. Being in this part of town means there are plenty of places to eat, but we mostly just bring lunch from home and eat at our desks. There’s always someone talking on the phone about orders or checking a sample against a sketch. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise, but we’re used to it by now. We do a lot of clothes stuff, mostly getting things ready to be sent out. It gets a bit cramped when a new shipment comes in, and we have to move boxes around just to walk to the bathroom. The windows are big, so we see the rain hitting the street below during monsoon season. It’s just a normal workplace with people trying to get their jobs done before the sun goes down and it's time to head back home through the Park Street crowd.
