The India Today Group

The India Today Group has its Kolkata office over at 378, Ganguly Bagan East Road. Even though the name is big, the office here feels very much like a part of the local neighborhood. It’s situated in the 700 084 area of West Bengal. The street outside is always full of activity—cars honking, people walking to the nearby market, and the usual Kolkata hustle. Our building is a solid, practical structure that has seen a lot of news cycles come and go. Inside, it’s a busy environment. We have rows of desks, phones ringing, and people always moving around. It’s not a quiet library type of place. There’s always someone talking about a story or checking a deadline. The furniture is a bit older, and the carpets have seen better days, but it’s a real working space. We don't have a fancy canteen; most of us just bring lunch from home or grab something from the street vendors outside. It gets pretty humid in the afternoons, but the fans and the AC keep us going. It’s a down-to-earth place where we just focus on getting the facts right and making sure the day's tasks are finished before the sun goes down. We’ve been at this Ganguly Bagan spot for years, and it’s just where we belong in the city’s media landscape, doing the work without any extra fluff or fancy corporate talk.
