The India Today Group

We are over here in Garia, right on N.S.C. Bose Road. It’s a busy spot, mostly. Our office at 356/20/1A is where we handle things for The India Today Group. Most of us take the metro or a bus to get in because the traffic gets pretty heavy around here during the mornings. It’s not a fancy glass building, just a regular space where we get the work done. You see the same people every day at the tea stall downstairs. We’ve been at this address for a while now. Some days are loud because of the horns outside, but you get used to it. Garia has changed a lot, but this corner feels the same. We deal with a lot of paperwork and media stuff. It’s a job, you know? We try to keep things moving. There’s always someone coming in or going out. The fans hum in the background. We don't really do the big corporate meetings like you see on TV. It’s more about sitting at the desks and making sure the news and magazines are sorted out. If you’re looking for us, look for the 1A marking on the gate. Sometimes the mail gets mixed up with the neighbors, so we have to check. It’s just how things are in this part of Kolkata. We like the local shops nearby for lunch. It’s a practical place to work, nothing too flashy, just us doing our bit every day.
